This is probably the best place I could find near the Berkeley campus area. The portions are pretty generous and the food is tasty. I come here very frequently to eat in and to order takeout but I will say that the prices are a little on the higher side for pho but there really aren't any other places nearby. I always get the pho with beef briskets and steak. The food comes out really quickly and the broth is one of my favorite parts.

Service is pretty decent, a lot of times I eat here I don't have much interaction with the staff but I've never had a problem with getting helped or anything like that.

Overall, great place to eat at if you're looking for something near campus

Been here for dine-in and takeout and the quality is average, but I keep going back due to convenience (it really is the only pho spot in the area and their takeout is incredibly quick). What I can say for sure is that if you have a soup and pho craving, this will still do it for you. However, the broth is just ok (you can see so many oil rings in the soup) and something that really bothers me about their noodles is that it comes in a big chunk and is always stuck together. I'm not a huge fan of having to pry my noodles apart when eating.

I had the veggie pho the last time I did takeout and thought $11+ was pretty pricey for a bowl with no meat. Service was friendly though and when I called I couldn't believe they said it'd be ready in 5 mins. The impressive amount of time makes me wonder how fresh the ingredients are.

TLDR: It'll get the job done, but slightly overpriced pho for very subpar food. I only come here when I'm in dire need of emergency pho and can't make time to drive elsewhere. I really hate leaving bad reviews, but I've been coming here for 3 years and the quality has declined an insane amount from an already very low bar.

    Food: 3/10
I'm a huge fan of pho and I'm convinced it's my magical hangover cure, so I take pho very seriously. Pho k&k simply doesn't put any effort really into their food :( The broth is severely watered down, so it lacks that sweet, meaty goodness of a traditional pho broth. Furthermore, there's a skimpy amount of meat in the pho and the noodles definitely aren't fresh. Over the years, the broth has only gotten more and more watered down to the point that I don't even think it's worth coming here.

    Price & Portion: 3/10
As stated above, they're pretty stingy with the portions of meat and the price of a bowl of pho is more than most of my favorite places. It's about $15 plus tax and tip, but for the same price you can get higher quality food with larger portions at Monster Pho or Pho Ao Sen.

    Service: 5/10
Just mediocre! Nothing super special, but sometimes it takes a realllly long time for your food to come or for the server to come take your order.

    Ambience: 6/10
Like the service, it's nothing special.

I absolutely love pho, so I'm really surprised I haven't visited earlier. All my friends often came here during our freshman year, but I just haven't gotten the chance to go! I came here today around 5pm on a cloudy, chilly day - perfect weather for a big bowl of hot noodles.

As it wasn't peak hours, my friend and I were immediately seated and given menus. We both ordered the #9, just typical rare beef pho, priced at $10 a bowl not including tax. I was totally not disappointed by the wait time! Both of our orders came probably around 5 minutes after we ordered. However, usually at pho places you'd be given one plate of veggies (the usual fresh bean sprouts, basil, jalapenos, and lemons to add to the pho) for every single bowl of noodles/pho you order. We were instead given one small plate to share between the two of us, of which I wasn't a huge fan.

I do admit that the broth was fantastically good - I drank all of it - and the noodles were great too, but there just wasn't enough beef for the price fo $10 and the bowl size. A very good standard-sized bowl of pho, but I feel like they made it look bigger than it was with an overflow of broth so that the noodles and beef were floating in it like tiny leaves on a large pond.

My verdict? It was great comfort food (and I definitely need it during this second midterm season), but at the price point, distance from campus, and the portion size, I'd much rather go to Saigon Express on Shattuck and use the $11 to buy both a foot-long banh mi (~$4) and a big bowl of pretty good pho (~$7).

I come here whenever it's cold/rainy outside, and it hits the spot. Overall, the food is decent and it's a good place to share a meal with friends. Can accommodate larger parties (10+).

Foodwise, probably a 3.5/5. Flavors were good, portion were decent, except there wasn't much meat in the bun bo hue or the pho. Noodles were good, but broth was just alright.

Service-wise, probably a 2/5. Servers weren't the most polite or helpful. I asked for an extra plate of sprouts, and they shrugged and I never got it. Honestly could do much better.

Ambiance-wise, a 3/5. Generally a good amount of seating, but there's a clutter of random stuff (like a rubber duck floatie) piled in the room like a storage.
